Northpoint Casino Guide is an independent publication describing licensed casino venues across Scotland. Its work is journalistic: gathering venue facts and setting out considered assessments. Northpoint neither operates nor owns a casino, arranges no travel, and handles no money on behalf of readers. No listed operator directs what appears here.
When a reader completes an enquiry or contact form, the guide receives a name, an e-mail address, the dates under consideration, how many people will attend and any accompanying remarks. Alongside this, routine server logs and analytics capture technical information such as the visitor’s IP address, the browser in use and which pages were opened.
Submitted details answer the enquiry at hand and deliver whatever information was asked for; they are applied to nothing else. Technical information supports site security and shows where the guide’s coverage could be stronger. Personal information belonging to readers is never offered for sale, and never released for outside marketing.
The guide relies on essential cookies for basic operation and may permit analytics cookies placed by external measurement services. Readers who prefer neither can switch cookies off, or delete them, through their browser’s own controls. The venue entries, opening hours and assessments continue to display normally afterwards.
Enquiry records survive only while the enquiry is live; once it has been resolved, they are cleared. Any reader may ask to see the data held, have an error put right, or have the entry removed altogether. Requests should go to [email protected] and will receive a reply within a reasonable period.
Northpoint is written for readers of eighteen years and older. Nothing on the site is aimed at children, and the guide does not knowingly take in details from anyone younger. Should such details reach us in error, they will be destroyed as soon as the position becomes clear.
